In the Society's daily life Courses and Conferences are a natural
and frequent event. They deal about the subjects of most interest
and concern for present times; they are either conceptual (about
the nature of Geography), or territorial (about the different lands
and nations that make up Spain and America) or about geographical
tools (Cartography, GIS and Remote Sensing).
In accordance with its objectives, activities are to promote geographical
knowledge in all its aspects and they pay a special attention to
those subjects that are most interesting for current society. Participation
in state-funded research projects is also among our activities.
The most frequent activities are courses, conferences, workshops,
exhibitions, and travels.
